The Top Five Best Casinos in the World…By Kayla Flournoy
#1 Venetian Macao Casino
Macau, China
We are starting with one of the largest gambling hubs in the world, Venetian Casino. Standing at a whopping 550,00 square feet, the eye-catching building has been drawing attention for over 14 years now. The owner of this 40-story, 2.4-billion-dollar place is the Las Vegas Sands. Equipped with 3,400 slot machines and 800 gambling tables, it’s a popular spot for anyone over the 21-year-old age requirement. The best part about this spot is you don’t have to worry about the hassle of leaving if you don’t want to! The building doubles as a resort with 3,000 suites and entertainment spaces. The resort’s size combined with the casino is a massive 10,500,000 square feet, making it the biggest resort/casino in the world, and anyone who enters notices right away.
#2 WinStar World Casino
Oklahoma, USA
Jumping into America’s largest casino that sprawls across 370,000 square feet is the WinStar World Casino. The casino itself is owned by The Chickasaw Nation, a federally known Native American tribe that has a very dedicated wish to enhance the quality of life for their people. Monies generated in business are divided between investments and further operations, along with helping out in any possible way with upcoming programs and events for the Chickasaw people. Now that alone deserves a round of applause! Built in 2003, the casino has over 8,500 slot machine games, 100 table games, and 55 poker tables. With things in every direction you look, the vibrant life of the casino would be almost impossible not to be sucked into. To add to the entire experience, the flavorful food served inside is nothing short of fantastic. Kirby’s Steakhouse, Gran Via buffet, and Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar are all a part of this spectacular building and an even more reason to add this to your casino bucket list. (Only if you’re 21, though!)
#3 City of Dreams Casino
Macau, China
For the second time, Macau, China, makes this list for a good reason! The City of Dreams Casino is owned by Melco Resorts & Entertainment and was built on June 1st, 2009. This 420,000 square foot property comes with 1,514 slot machine games and 450 gambling tables and offers food from 40 different restaurants. With plenty of choices for fun and food, this is a hot spot for thousands of people, and I’m not surprised. I wouldn’t want to leave with the out-of-this-world architecture to the activities inside! Offering more than traditional casinos with their food services, suites for anyone wishing to extend their stay, and various luxury goods shops, this seals its spot as one of the best casinos in the world.
#4 Foxwood Resort Casino
Connecticut, USA
The second-largest casino in America hits off our fourth casino on the bucket list. Spreading across six casinos, the gaming space found on this property is an astounding 350,000 square feet, and the owner of this casino is the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Pioneers to the Indian casino gaming industry, this tribe is one of the oldest in existence and owns this casino with various complementary business enterprises. With over 4,700 slot machines and 380 gambling tables, the Foxwoods Resort Casino is nothing short of show-stopping. Alongside the casino are two hotel towers and high-end shopping, dining, and entertainment options. With an array of things to do, this hotel has it all and more to make your experience worth every penny.
#5 The Bellagio
Nevada, USA
With over 2,300 slot machines located here, paying massive jackpots. With high stake poker rooms, along with those slot machines, this enormous property gives you plenty of gaming options and ways to walk out with double the amount of money you brought with you. Expecting nothing less of this beautiful casino, an eight-acre lake separates it from the Las Vegas strip with a water fountain to add that eye appeal. (As if the building doesn’t already do that!) The previous owner MGM sold the casino to the Blackstone Group in 2019 for 4.25 billion dollars and is one of the top casinos listed globally, giving it a spot on this list.
