Foyer Urban is a development company that focuses on intown living. We take the project through the entire process, from site selection, product design, entitlement, permitting, and construction.
When did you first become interested in construction and architecture and real estate development?
I started my career in this field in 1983, beginning in sales, then as a homebuilder, and evolving in the early 1990s to full site development, both residential and commercial.
How long have you worked in the Atlanta real estate market
With the exception of about six years, since 1983. About 30 years.
What is your overall approach to the Atlanta real estate market today? Is it cautionary or do you feel there are great opportunities in investing here?
Atlanta, like any other market, is subject to the influence of location and pricing / value. The great thing about Atlanta, though, is that we continue to see great job and population growth, and with so much to offer, the city further enjoys the current trend of moving back to intown living. We will always have ups and downs in pricing and velocity, but I personally feel that Atlanta has a strong market that will continue to grow.
